The Inconvenient Truth - Hillary Clinton Is The Mother Of Obama's Birtherism

Once upon a time, there lived a woman who thought she was entitled to be President of the United States. Let's call her ... I don't know... how about Hillary?

Hillary, as in Clinton, has survived to become the current Democratic nominee for President despite political landmines exploding all around her. Scandal after underhanded scandal due to questionable, if not illegal, dealings? Nothing here to see, folks. Move along.  Let's just say that throughout the course of time, Hillary has bobbed, weaved, destroyed evidence, denied, obstructed, schemed, lied like a cheap rug, and shouldered all manner of humiliation, embarrassment, and federal investigations while soldiering on, dreaming that some day, one day, she would be Madame President.

And when it comes to hypocrisy and manufactured righteous indignation, she is the undisputed champ.

Like when she got on her soapbox recently and attacked Donald Trump for having taken part in Barrack Obama's birther stupidity. Ladies and gentlemen, that takes some colossal cojones because Hillary is the unquestionable, indisputable Mother of the Birther rumors pertaining to Obama.

Now, I try to be a reasonably astute, educated individual when it comes to politics. I also try to weigh information and reject stuff that doesn't pass the smell test. Obama's birthplace and the birther stuff was one of those things that smelled to high heaven. For the life of me, I can't understand why The Donald latched on to it like a dog who had never been given a bone and was finally introduced to one.

But OK, he did, and in my mind made a fool out of himself by going down that road even though it was marked "Stupid Lane". But so did Hillary. In fact, she was for the birther crap long before she was against it. And she tried her best to exploit it.

So the next time you hear Hillary attacking Trump as an insensitive, racist birther who has insulted Obama's integrity by publicly questioning his American birth, or the next time Hillary's minions go on cable news programs and bemoan Trump as despicable for having spread such rumors, or when Michelle Obama sniffles, sobs, and chokes up pretending like her hubby had a tough time dealing with the pain of those accusations, just remember this inconvenient truth - Hillary was slinging that same mud long before Trump got his hands dirty.

Naturally, you'll hear the media and Hillary's surrogates bend over backwards to cover for Hillary. They will will say that there's no direct proof that Hillary engaged in spreading the birther rumors about Obama and they're right to a certain extent. Hillary's fingerprints will never be found on that gun. 

But that's because Hillary is too shrewd to have handled the weapon without wearing gloves. I mean, c'mon people... did you seriously expect to find a smoking gun with a confession note penned by Hillary, rubber banded to the barrel, saying, "Yep, it was me"?

This is the same woman who had a team of flunkies scrub, bleach, wipe, and hammer into oblivion any trace of her Blackberrys and computer servers when the email scandal broke. The same Hillary who had thousands of pages of subpoenaed billing documents during a federal investigation disappear from her law firm only for the documents to magically appear in the White House years later.

Take the blinders off, will ya, please?

Hillary has always had a team of hatchet men to do her dirty work so as to insulate her from any connection to the deeds. It's a well worn, simple concept - plausible deniability - and Hillary is the master of this tactic.

For the longest time, one of Hillary's go-to hatchet guys has been Sidney Blumenthal. Back in 2007 and 2008, when Obama appeared to be wresting the nomination from the old girl, what did she do? She turned to her Prince of Darkness, the guy who everyone knew as "Sid Vicious". She instructed Blumenthal to do what he did best - get in the gutter, dig for dirt, roll around in the pig sty, and surface with something, anything that might torpedo the rising candidacy of the aforementioned upstart.

And Blumenthal went to work doing what he does best. He slung mud, spread rumors, and used every dirty, underhanded trick he could deploy on behalf of his Hillary.

With Blumenthal, such assignments become an obsession. After jumping into the political sewer, he began to rail about about the possible existence of a tape from a Chicago church wherein Michelle Obama could supposedly be heard ranting against “whitey”. Blumenthal referred to it as the “whitey tape” and believed that this tape, if it could be found, would destroy Obama's political fortunes. Hillary bought into it hook, line, and sinker, telling anyone who would listen that, “They’ve got a tape, they’ve got a tape."

Just a little insight as to the depths to which Blumenthal  and Hillary went to as far as Obama rumors were concerned;  and, the anecdote refutes any notion that Hillary wasn't abreast of every little smidgeon of dirt that Blumenthal was pursuing while relishing in the thought of finding something in Obama's past that would tank his campaign.

But the tape turned out to be a figment of Blumenthal's perverted imagination. There was no such tape.

So Blumenthal shifted gears. He began to fuel and fan the flames of allegations surrounding Barack Obama’s relationship with former Weather Underground militant William Ayres and with Tony Rezko, a dirty Chicago developer - behind the scenes, of course. 

Taking it up another notch, in emails to the media, Blumenthal derided Obama’s judgement, questioning how Obama would conduct himself in his promised "summits without preconditions” with people such as then Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il.

“Let’s look at how he did with Tony Rezko,” Blumenthal said.

Blumenthal made it a practice of sending these and other anti-Obama emails, often attaching articles  from far-right publications, to reporters and others who he knew would spread the rumors. What he normally dished out was garbage with no basis in fact, but sufficiently intriguing to merit attention.

Peter Dyer from the Huffington Post was the recipient of most, if not all, of those frequent email blasts. They were forwarded to him by one of the people on Blumenthal's list. In a May 25, 2011, Dyer wrote and article for the Post, after growing tired of Blumenthal's smear tactics: 

"[A]cting as a senior campaign advisor to Senator Clinton, Blumenthal is exploiting that same right-wing network to attack and discredit Barack Obama. And he’s not hesitating to use the same sort of guilt-by-association tactics that have been the hallmark of the political right dating back to the McCarthy era. 

Almost every day over the past six months, I have been the recipient of an email that attacks Obama’s character, political views, electability, and real or manufactured associations. The original source of many of these hit pieces are virulent and sometimes extreme right-wing websites, bloggers, and publications. But they aren’t being emailed out from some fringe right-wing group that somehow managed to get my email address. Instead, it is Sidney Blumenthal who, on a regular basis, methodically dispatches these email mudballs to an influential list of opinion shapers — including journalists, former Clinton administration officials, academics, policy entrepreneurs, and think tankers — in what is an obvious attempt to create an echo chamber that reverberates among talk shows, columnists, and Democratic Party funders and activists. One of the recipients of the Blumenthal email blast, himself a Clinton supporter, forwards the material to me and perhaps to others."

If only Peter knew just how many people were on Blumenthal's email list.

Itt included writers and journalists such as Craig Unger, Edward Jay Epstein, Thomas Edsall (Politics Editor of the Huffington Post), Joe Conason, Gene Lyons (Arkansas Democrat-Gazette columnist and author of "The Hunting of the President: The Ten Year Campaign to Destroy Bill and Hillary Clinton"), John Judis, Eric Alterman, Christine Ockrent, David Brock, Reza Aslan, Harold Evans, and Josh Marshall; academics and think tankers Todd Gitlin (Columbia U sociologist), Karen Greenberg (NYU law school), Sean Wilentz (Princeton historian), Michael Lind, William M. Drozdiak, and Richard Parker; and former Clinton administration officials John Ritch, James Rubin, Derek Shearer, and Joe Wilson.

But the creme de la creme was Blumenthal's birther attack on Obama which he originated after receiving some marching orders from "Who-Me?" Hillary, through her staff.

In March of 2007, Hillary was briefed on her campaign's strategy going forward. In a recently discovered memorandum from Mark Penn, Hillary's Chief Strategist for the 2008 presidential campaign, Penn outlined the campaign's plan of attack on Obama. Obama's "Lack of American Roots" was clearly a key area Penn and Hillary believed was ripe for attack.

But not overtly. Secretly. Discreetly. Never in a way that could ever come back to their doorstep. This was confirmed in the memo, as Penn verified the underhanded manner in which they would be proceeding, to wit: "We are never going to say anything about his background" while nevertheless doing just that under the radar.



And Sidney Blumenthal was given the job of uncovering any dirt on Obama that would undermine Obama's "lack of American roots".

Blumenthal had heard the rumors relating to Obama's suspected Kenyan birthplace and believed them to be true. In typical Blumenthal fashion, he deluded himself into believing them because he was certain tthat would be the end of Obama's candidacy. He therefore began a not-so-subtle email campaign to press this avenue of attack and eventually managed to get the ear of James Asher, a McClatchy Washington DC bureau chief.

Asher has verified publicly that Blumenthal spread the story to him, and that he assigned a reporter to investigate. Moreover, Shashank Bengali, who was the McClatchy bureau chief in Nairobi in 2008, has confirmed that Asher asked him to look into Obama’s background. He has also said he did report on several tips as well as the rumor that Obama was born there, and not in Hawaii.

“Jim asked me to look into Obama’s ties to Kenya and sent a number of tips to check out and one of the things I looked into was the unfounded rumor that Obama was born in Kenya. I don’t have any specific knowledge where that tip would have come from. Jim’s instructions were just to look at everything.”

A 2008 email from Blumenthal to Asher was also forwarded to Bengali raising other avenues of dirt that should be pursued:

"Jim: 

On Kenya, your person in the field might look into the impact there of Obama’s public comments about his father. I’m told by State Dept officials that Obama publicly derided his father on his visit there and that was regarded as embarrassing and crossing the line by Kenyans for whom respect for elders (especially the father, especially a Muslim father, in a patrilineal society) is considered sacrosanct.

To punctuate his recollection of his interactions with Blumenthal pertaining to the birther issue, Asher  specifically recalls Blumenthal visiting the Washington McClatchy bureau where the two met in Asher's office. During that conversation and in subsequent communications, Asher steadfastly maintains that he and Blumenthal discussed a number of matters related to Obama and Blumenthal encouraged McClatchy to write stories related to Obama and his connections to Kenya.

He also specifically recalls the conversation wherein Blumenthal encouraged an investigative article about the birther issue after Blumenthal told him that Obama was born in Kenya.

Blumenthal has denied Asher's claims, just as he's denied having spread countless other lies, rumors, and dirt about anyone in his way. To say that Blumenthal's credibility is non-existent is an understatement. And for Hillary to sanctimoniously deny having been involved in any such underhanded, unscrupulous, deceitful, reprehensible, dirty, low down rumor mongering.... well, that smells almost as bad as Blumenthal.  Nobody makes a move on behalf of the Clintons unless they've issued the orders. They're the most micromanaging control freaks God has ever put on the face of this earth.

But before I close, let me make sure you appreciate the totality of the bag of scum that Sidney Blumenthal truly is. That way, you can properly assess anything he might have to say on anything, including a denial of having leaped head first into the birther manure pile on behalf of Hillary.

From the earliest Clinton days, Blumenthal has been the Clintons' Liar In Chief, spreading any lie he could conjure up in order to protect Billy-Bob from himself. 

Some have described Blumenthal as the "whisperer", the guy who was always that mysterious "unnamed source" used by the media to give credence to unsubstantiated rumors that Bill wanted to spread about his foes.

Blumenthal's reputation for dishonesty and underhanded tactics is legendary and amply documented. One notable example is when he lied to the media and Congress after publicly smearing Monica Lewinsky as a stalker.

Blumenthal was also caught spreading false rumors during Bill Clinton's impeachment trial about one of the prosecutors on Kenneth Starr’s team having abused young boys at a Christian summer camp.

Want more? In 1995, Blumenthal told reporters that Colin Powell’s wife suffered from clinical depression and was thus unfit to be a first lady. He did this when Colin Powell was testing the waters for a presidential run against Bill after his first term. and the Clintons were terrified that it could derail a second term for Bill.

And if you have any doubt whatsoever as to whether Blumenthal had his DNA all over the birther issue and that Obama and his people knew about it, all you need to know is that when Hillary wanted to have Blumenthal join her at the State Department as a top aide, Obama not only said, "No", he said "Hell, no."

Obama's key White House staffers detested the man, including Press Secretary Robert Gibbs and Senior Adviser David Axelrod, both of whom threatened to quit if Blumenthal was hired. They knew that Blumenthal had been involved in spreading all of the unsubstantiated, dirty allegations against the Obamas during the 2008 Democratic primary, including the birther issue, and wanted no part of him.

So, when it comes to the birther issue, Hillary rules the roost. Any attempt by Hillary, her minions, or her enamored media to distance her from it belies the fact that Hillary’s 2008 campaign against Obama was the source of the original birtherism attack. She and her campaign tried to exploit the issue and did so in the typical Clintonian fashion: indirectly, secretly, and through hatchet men like Sidney Blumenthal manufacturing and passing along rumors .

Hillary has never learned not to throw stones while living in a glass house. Or she thinks all of us are stupid. Either way, the truth is out, inconvenient as it may be.

Hillary And The Mainstream Media Think She Won Monday Night's Debate, But The First Post-Debate Poll Of Voters Gives Trump An Increasing Lead Over Hillary

Shhhhhhhhh. Listen. Do you hear that? That's the sound of Hillary Clinton's bubble bursting and her  campaign crumbling beneath her feet. And this is a campaign that pits her against the worst possible opponent in the history of modern politics.

Let me make it absolutely clear. I am not a Trump supporter. I am, however, left with no choice but to be a Trump voter.

I wish the GOP primary electorate had not put us in the position we're in, forcing me to hold my nose while I pull the lever for The Donald.

But I'm betting that there are a lot of my friends on the Left who are ruing the day that Hillary was nominated as the Democrat's candidate.

I guess that makes us even.

In truth, the GOP could have nominated a lamppost for President and it would have been 15 points ahead of Hilary in the polls right now. But GOP voters decided to make the election interesting and nominated a spray tanned, comb-over coiffed, ego maniacal buffoon, to go up against Hillary.

Similarly, the Democrats could have nominated a street sign for President and it would have been 15 points ahead of Trump in the polls right now. But they, too, decided to make the election interesting and nominated a corrupt, untrustworthy, pathological liar with more skeletons in her closet than Kim Jong-un, to go against Trump.

You just have to scratch your head and wonder in amazement how we could have possibly gotten to this point, but it is what it is.

And here's the rub. Trump is going to beat Hillary.

The poor old girl must wake up in the morning, cough a few times, steady herself so she doesn't fall again, take her medication for whatever it is that is really physically wrong with her, and wonder whether she's in the Bizarro World. Hillary could not have handpicked an easier opponent to beat and finally make her dream come true of sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office - without Monica Lewinsky hiding under said desk.

Even though the mainstream media has had Hillary's back from day one and has also been working non-stop since Monday night's debate to spin the Monday night debate as a "yuge" win for Hillary, here comes the first post-debate poll.

OMG, it has (gasp) Trump taking a lead over H. And the lead is growing.

Despite Hillary having spent almost $150 Million in ads pre-debate and all the bravado and gloating by Hillary during the campaign events that have followed since the debate, not only is Trump leading Hillary in the latest poll, the numbers are close to being outside the statistical margin for error.

Holy kick in the rear, Batman.

The scarier thing for Hillary's basket of sanctimonious elitists is that the poll can't be tossed aside as one conducted by Fox News - i.e. Satan to Democrats. It was conducted by (wait for it) ... the Los Angeles Times, in conjunction with the University of Southern California.

Yep, one of the most liberal bastions of political posturing has Trump ahead by four points as of September 28. For you Hillary minions that are having trouble reading this due to the tears of reality streaming down your faces, that's two days after the can of whoop-ass Hillary supposedly put on The Donald during Monday night's debate. 

Maybe the voters polled were turned off by Hillary's sanctimonious, smug, off-putting demeanor during the debate, or that goofy grin to which she resorts when she's trying to come up with another one of her unexplainable explanations for having destroyed 30,000 emails. 

Maybe they were reacting to the unintelligible, socialist, gobbledy gook she was spewing as she tried to pamper to millennials while feigning a "Feel the Bern" moment. 

Or maybe when she channeled John Kerry, looked the audience in the eyes, and lied about being for the TPP trade deal before she was against the TPP trade deal, she broke the straw on the camel's back and people finally reached the Hillary Lying saturation point. Damn those pesky videos which show her calling the TPP the gold standard of trade deals.

I think it could also be something else. Reasonably intelligent, rational, thoughtful people like me are tired of being lumped into Hillary's basket of irredeemable deplorables, a condescending generality she, her campaign, and the media have made about anyone who is going to vote for Trump.

I know I'm tired of being painted by them as a backwoods, redneck, ignorant doofus because I won't bow at the temple of Clinton and instead have chosen to vote for her alternative, albeit a very flawed one.

I'm also tired of being painted by them as a racist, Nazi pig who hates all foreigners trying to immigrate to the U.S.

I'll put up my education, intelligence, and knowledge of the issues against any media talking head or any of Hillary's drones and leave them hopelessly babbling after a discussion on whatever topic they choose.

I'm also a Hispanic immigrant. Although the Hillary and media love to make all Trump supporters white racists and Klansmen, I'm not now, nor have I ever been, a member of the KKK.

If memory serves me correctly, the KKK originated in the Deep South and was comprised of DEMOCRATS.

And if memory also serves me correct, Hillary once spoke in glowing terms about her very good friend, West Virginia Senator Robert Byrd. Here's how she described her BFF:

“Senator Byrd was a man of surpassing eloquence and nobility. It is almost impossible to imagine the United States Senate without Robert Byrd. He was not only its longest serving member. He was its heart, its soul, and it’s historian.”

You'd think she was talking about Ghandi, Mother Teresa, or Helen Keller. No, she was talking about a long time, unabashed racist and an actual, real life, card-carrying member and recruiter for the KKK. In the 1940s, Byrd obtained the KKK rank of Exalted Cyclops and spent decades promoting their vile, racist message.

He also took part in what was once the longest filibuster ever against the Civil Rights Act. As he once announced:

“I shall never fight in the armed forces with a negro by my side … Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.”

So Hillary, you can hop down off your soapbox when it comes to the KKK and anyone's supporters. Not when you've had your lips planted squarely on the cheek of the Senate's biggest racist Klansman.

But back to the topic of this post.

As much as Hillary and the mainstream media may want to look down their noses at Trump voters and portray us as ignorant, brainless, buck-toothed idiots, maybe, just maybe, we're tired of the stereotype and have decided to shove a Hillary "I'm With Her" button up their sanctimonious rear ends.

And maybe, just maybe, the majority of voters are fed up with not only the disastrous status quo that is the product of having an incompetent President for with years, we don't want four more years of it.

Ot we could just be tired of Hillary's lying, corruption, and incompetence.

So, Hillary, you keep right on viewing us as gullible, ignorant, racist, brainless, unsophisticated, contemptible voters as you dismiss us. And you, media, continue to play the huckster role for Hillary as you set yourselves up for a rude awakening when the last ballot is counted. You'll be scratching your heads yet again wondering how you could have been so wrong about another election result.

I'm not the only one who has concluded that The Donald is going to win the election. Ultra-liberal, Kool Aid swilling, Huffington Post columnists have finally come to accept this as reality as well.

One columnist recently gave five reasons why Hillary was going to lose to that spray tanned, comb-over coiffed, ego maniacal buffoon. He nailed it when he analyzed Hillary the candidate:

"Let’s face it: Our biggest problem here isn’t Trump - it’s Hillary. She is hugely unpopular — nearly 70% of all voters think she is untrustworthy and dishonest. She represents the old way of politics, not really believing in anything other than what can get you elected. That’s why she fights against gays getting married one moment, and the next she’s officiating a gay marriage. Young women are among her biggest detractors, which has to hurt considering it’s the sacrifices and the battles that Hillary and other women of her generation endured so that this younger generation would never have to be told by the Barbara Bushes of the world that they should just shut up and go bake some cookies. But the kids don’t like her, and not a day goes by that a millennial doesn’t tell me they aren’t voting for her. No Democrat, and certainly no independent, is waking up on November 8th excited to run out and vote for Hillary the way they did the day Obama became president or when Bernie was on the primary ballot. The enthusiasm just isn’t there. And because this election is going to come down to just one thing — who drags the most people out of the house and gets them to the polls — Trump right now is in the catbird seat."

So, here's the deal, you media moguls and Clinton staffers. A lot of us will surely be holding our noses when we pull the lever for Trump, but we're still going to pull that lever for Trump. No matter how he bad he smells, no matter how much we hate to do it, no matter how much we wish we had someone else on the ticket, and no matter how much you wish it weren't true, a majority of Americans believe that Trump at his worst is better than Hillary at her best.

Deal with it.

Safe Spaces, Microaggression, and Trigger Warnings - The Insanity Permeating Throughout College Campuses Today With No Apparent End In Sight

It is time for us to take a step back, look at the monster we've created, and say enough is enough. Yep, we need to yank on the chain, and I mean yank back hard. Things have spiraled out of control and unless we put a lid on it it will be too late to restore normalcy into our world.

I'm referring to the fragile, delicate millennials and the incredible entitlement mentality they have, along with the censorship they think they are free to impose on the rest of us.

We've allowed these putzes to take charge of things because we're afraid to grab them by the scruff of the neck, slap them around a bit, and tell them to that no one gives two rats' behinds what they think or how they feel.

Day after day I read and hear about incidents at college campuses involving genteel feelings being hurt, emotional outcries, tears pouring down from the heavens, and mega doses of boo hoo-ing by wet-behind-the-ears kiddies who should be thanking their lucky stars that they get to sit in on their rear ends for four, five, and six or more years while the rest of the world is working for a living.

While these self righteous buffoons get up at noon and try to decide whether their daily Starbuck's offering should include whey or turbinado sugar, many others got up at 5:00 am, made lunch for their kids, dropped them off at school, commute to work, and clock in for a 10-hour or more work day...if they're lucky.

Not wanting to miss an opportunity to cash in on the latest fad, psychobabblers everywhere have come up with all kinds of nifty, witty terms to assuage bruised egos and frail feelings - "safe places",  "micro-aggression", "trigger warnings"; and other such utterly asinine terminology to exploit and give credence to whining and hand wringing.

Enough.

To all of the millennial who are putting on the weeps because they saw something on YouTube that hurt their feelings, sucks for you. You read someone's post on Facebook or saw a photo on Instagram that made you sad? Your roommate thinks climate change is a hoax and that offends you? Tough noogies. Domino's stopped offering cheesy bread sticks with a large pizza? Get over it.

And while you're at it, get over yourselves.

Oh, but I forgot. Somewhere along the way you decided that life should be fair. That unicorns grow in forests. That all you have to do is ask mommy or daddy and a new car appears in the driveway, all your living expenses and tuition are paid for, and rainbows will light your way through life.

You're a disgrace. Your parents' AMEX is burning a hole in your pocket and you can't wait for the new iPhone to come out so you can replace last year's model. The biggest decision you'll be making today is whether to take a selfie with or without a pouty look. And you have the stones to complain that your feelings aren't paramount to everyone else's.

How did we let things get to this obscene point? Here are some examples of what's happening on campuses throughout the U.S.

University of Arizona protesters demanding ... free tampons

“Marginalized" students at the University of Arizona recently issued nineteen pages of demands because they were upset over a slew of things they deemed vital. Their demands included:

• Free tampons, menstrual pads, and condoms in university restrooms
• Free testing for sexually transmitted diseases.
• Faculty race quotas in place by 2020.
• Millions of dollars in new funding for building renovations
• Access to free computers
• Paid tutors
• Reduced-price or free healthy food; and 
• New places to practice spirituality or religion

Imagine going to your boss and making demands like this.... How fast would you be told to pack it up, hit the pavement, and avoid having the door hit you in the rear end on your way out?

Here's a few more.

Four female students at Columbia University protested the teaching of classical mythology in the classroom and insisted that the school implement a trigger warning for Ovid’s “Metamorphoses” because the book includes rape and sexual assault.

At Oberlin College and Georgetown University, female students were shielded from the views of a lecturer who regularly speaks in support of “equity" feminism - the idea that men and women are equal under the law. "Trigger warnings" and a safe space were provided just in case the ladies were threatened by the idea that men and women can be equal.

At Massachusetts' Clark University, students are now forbidden from treating others "negatively" based on social or political affiliations.'

At the University of California-Santa Barbara, trigger warnings are required in every syllabus for any works that students could find disconcerting or uncomfortable. Students have the option to skip a trigger class or assignment without any penalty to their grade.

But as ridiculously stupid as the foregoing is, it pales in comparison to recent events at Emory University in Atlanta where students staged massive protests and insisted on counseling because someone anonymously wrote "Vote Trump", "Trump 2016", and other pro-Trump messages with chalk on a campus sidewalks.

I am not making this up. A group of coddled, whimpering Emory students staged a protest outside the university's administration building because of the the chalk messages. They had the unmitigated gall to shout, “You are not listening! Come speak to us, we are in pain!”

The students then moved into the administration building while yelling, “It is our duty to fight for our freedom. It is our duty to win. We must love each other and support each other. We have nothing to lose but our chains.”

Seriously? You insufferable pinheads, your pampered, over indulged sensibilities were rubbed the wrong way because of a few chalk signs expressing support for a presidential candidate that you don't like? And that caused you ... pain?

As the grownups, university officials should have stepped in, slapped these idiots like red headed step children, and sent them on their way.

But oh, noooooooo. Jim Wagner, President of Emory University and the adult that is being paid to be in the room, met with the protesters and issued this statement afterward:

Dear Emory Community, 

Yesterday I received a visit from 40 to 50 student protesters upset by the unexpected chalkings on campus sidewalks and some buildings yesterday morning, in this case referencing Donald Trump. The students shared with me their concern that these messages were meant to intimidate rather than merely to advocate for a particular candidate, having appeared outside of the context of a Georgia election or campus campaign activity. During our conversation, they voiced their genuine concern and pain in the face of this perceived intimidation. 

After meeting with our students, I cannot dismiss their expression of feelings and concern as motivated only by political preference or over-sensitivity. Instead, the students with whom I spoke heard a message, not about political process or candidate choice, but instead about values regarding diversity and respect that clash with Emory’s own. 

As an academic community, we must value and encourage the expression of ideas, vigorous debate, speech, dissent, and protest. At the same time, our commitment to respect, civility, and inclusion calls us to provide a safe environment that inspires and supports courageous inquiry. It is important that we recognize, listen to, and honor the concerns of these students, as well as faculty and staff who may feel similarly. 

On the heels of work begun by students last fall and advanced last month through the Racial Justice Retreat and subsequent working groups, Emory is taking a number of significant steps:

• Immediate refinements to certain policy and procedural deficiencies (for example, our bias incident reporting and response process);
• Regular and structured opportunities for difficult dialogues (like the Transforming Community Project of several years ago);
• A formal process to institutionalize identification, review, and addressing of social justice opportunities and issues; and
• Commitment to an annual retreat to renew our efforts.

To keep moving forward, we must continue to engage in rich and meaningful dialogue around critical issues facing our nation and our society. I learn from every conversation like the one that took place yesterday and know that further conversations are necessary. More than that, such discussions should lead to action that continues to foster a more just and inclusive Emory.

Apparently, the adults in the room at Emory don't know how to step up and act like the adults in the room. And they certainly don't know how to do it at Northwestern University either.

Northwestern President Morton Shapiro addressed the incoming crop of freshmen this year and told them to look for safe spaces on campus. He told them that if they couldn't find any, the university would provide whatever assistance was necessary to help students find them.

With regard to "traumatic" ideas, he told them to forget about preparing themselves psychologically for such things. Anyone who fostered such ideas were, in his words, lunatics.

“The people who decry safe spaces do it from their segregated housing places, from their jobs without diversity — they do it from their country clubs. It just drives me nuts.”

Shapiro's head must have exploded when he found out that just a few miles away from his campus, across town, the Dean of Students at the University of Chicago wrote a letter to incoming students and sent them a message that was just a wee bit different:

“Our commitment to academic freedom means that we do not support so-called trigger warnings, we do not cancel invited speakers because their topics might prove controversial, and we do not condone the creation of intellectual ‘safe spaces’ where individuals can retreat from ideas and perspectives at odds with their own."

Finally. A dose of common sense injected into the mix. An adult who wasn't afraid to make it clear to purportedly emotionally fragile, spineless idiots that unless they put on their big boy and big girl pants life would rip out their throats upon leaving their sheltered existences on campus. Someone who was willing to make it clear to students that it was time for them to learn how to bridge the gap between their playpens and the the cruel world that lurked outside the ivy, wrought iron, and brick walls of nirvana-land.

So allow me to follow the lead of the University of Chicago and send a message to all the whiny little wussies who opt to snivel in their safe spaces or plug their ears when they sense what they think is some micro aggression. Grow up and say hello to the real world, you imbecilic twits. If you don't, you'll soon be chewed up and spit out so fast your delicate constitution won't know what hit it.

I can't wait for you to think back to all those years you screamed about universal health care. You're about to pay up the nose for it. Oh, you don’t want it? That will cost you too. You want an apartment? A house? A car? Guess what - it will cost you real dinero, not hand out to you because you bitched and moaned.

And here's the kicker ... remember all that "free stuff" you thought sounded so cool when it was shoveled your way? Now you're going to pay for all of it too. See, there's this thing called taxes, and other than death it's the only thing you can't avoid.

You will long for the days when you arrived at State U, where if your feelings were hurt you were a victim. If you were challenged, the challenger was a bigot.

In the real world, you will be challenged. Oh, baby will you be challenged. Because life is a never ending series of challenges...and disappointments....and many instances of unpleasantness. You will soon learn that humility will get you a lot further than your grousing or self righteous bravado. Selflessness will be more important that your unfettered, spoiled selfishness.

You're going to quickly learn (the hard way) that who you are as a person and what you do for yourself will far outweigh the color of your skin, your socio-economic background, your sex, your weight, your religious affiliation, or whether you're a boy and you want to wear a dress and go pee in the girls room.

You will not get five breaks a day. You’re going to have to work nights and weekends from time to time. Nine and ten hour workdays will be the norm, unless you want to flip burgers or vacuum cars at the car wash all your life.

You will not graduate and immediately transition to a six-figure job. Thanks to your pick for president the last two elections you’ll be lucky to land any kind of job, and more than likely, it will be part time  job… and you should be grateful when you find it.

So, kiddies, enjoy the remainder of your time being genteel, pristine little snowflakes. Revel in being pampered in what has become the world’s most expensive daycare centers across the country. Soon, you’ll be in the real world.

Like President Obama, who recently said we will be admitting 110,000 additional Syrian refugees into the U.S. in 2017. And Hillary, who wants that number increased.

Again I ask, how stupid can they possibly be?

Pretty darn stupid, I'd say.

Before I go on, I need to something very, very clear. I appreciate the opportunity for people to immigrate to the U.S. more than most. I, along with thousands of other Cubans, was able to immigrate to the U.S. in 1960 and eventually became a naturalized citizen. Thousands more like me have followed since then, just like millions of immigrants from other countries did before us.

But there's a very real difference between Cuban immigrants, and immigrants from Italy, Ireland, Poland, Japan, Korea, China, India, etc. etc., that have come to the U.S. in the past, and refugees from Syria or other Muslim countries who seek to immigrate to the West.

None of the refugees or immigrants who have come to the U.S. in the past have indiscriminately inflicted death and destruction on America while chanting "Allah Akbar".

None of them have strapped on a bomb or planted explosive devices in public places with the intention of killing as many people as possible.

And none of them have come here with an express hatred of the U.S., everything it stands for, and anyone who lives here.

Some of the ones attempting to pass themselves off as refugees are anything but refugees. They want to come here for one purpose and only one purpose - to kill as many of us as possible.

As I said, I sympathize deeply with anyone striving to leave horrible conditions and come to a new land that offers the opportunity for freedom, success, and safe harbor. However, I'm smart enough to understand that sympathy must sometimes be tempered by wisdom, common sense, and caution. I also recognize that with my head out of the sand, I can see that the world today is a much different place than it was in the past when the U.S. could freely open its doors to those fleeing persecution, oppression, or sanctuary.

So, to all my friends on the left, let's drop the sanctimonious, faux-righteous indignation you frequently espouse when anyone expresses concern over allowing an influx of thousands and thousands of people from places that are ripe with people who wish to do nothing but kill us.

Expressing concern and demanding caution over the admittance of thousands of Syrian refugees does not make us, or America, hard-hearted, unsympathetic people. It makes us sane, rational, thoughtful people.

Unlike you, you naive idiots.

While we're at it, lets also drop the cliche' racist jargon - it got old the first twenty million times that you played that card. Opposing unfettered, nilly-willy immigration from Syria does not make us, or Americans, religious bigots who hate Muslims. The only Muslims we don't cotton to are those who believe in a radical, hysterical, fanatical type of Islam that is egregiously more racist, bigoted, homophobic, anti-Semitic, anti-Christian, and anti-American as it can possibly be.

The problem is you can't tell which Syrians are peace loving, good and decent people, as opposed to the ones who are posing as refugees and are trying to come here to become martyrs and take as many of us as they can with them.

Is that so hard to grasp?

Perhaps if the leaders of other countries had tempered their compassion with common sense, many of their residents would not have been injured or would still be here to enjoy the life that many refugees hope for. 

A Syrian "refugee" is taken into custody after his terrorist attack

Like Germany, where earlier this year Syrian "refugees" committed two separate terrorist attacks. The first took place in Reutlingen where a man stabbed five people, killing one woman before being taken into custody by local police. In another, a Syrian "refugee" blew himself up outside a music festival in Ansbach. No one was killed but 15 people were injured in the blast.

These attacks came on the heel of another incident in which an Afghan "refugee" pledged allegiance to ISIS and tried to stab commuters on a German train.

As horrific and alarm-bell-ringing as those incidents were, they pale in comparison with what happened earlier this year in France.

Last October, some two hundred refugees arrived by boat in Greece seeking to make their way to other parts of Europe. Among these refugees were four individuals who were anything but asylum-seeking refugees - they were on their way to France for the sole purpose of murder.

Posing as Syrian refugees with doctored passports and false identities (does this ring a bell?), two of these ISIS jihadists successfully masqueraded themselves all the way to Paris and detonated suicide vests at the Stade de France complex, part of the deadliest attack on France since World War II.

And that's not all. More than three dozen suspected militants who impersonated migrants have been arrested or died while planning/carrying out acts of terrorism. They include at least seven directly tied to the bloody attacks in Paris and Brussels.

Meanwhile, ISIS is gloating that they have far more lying in wait. An ISIS commander was recently interviewed over an encrypted data service and said:

“We have sent many operatives to Europe with the refugees. Some of our brothers have fulfilled their mission, but others are still waiting to be activated.”

Prior to the Paris and Brussels attacks, ISIS claimed that 4,000 of its members had traveled to Europe disguised as Syrian refugees. Syria’s ambassador to India reaffirmed those claims shortly after the Paris attacks when he acknowledged that more than 20 percent of the Syrian refugees seeking asylum in Europe belong to ISIS.

Yet President Obama has compared Syrian refugees to the first Pilgrims who sailed to America on the Mayflower in September 1620.

The forger who sold the fake passport and ID's to the Daily Mail reporter had a different view. He said that the Syrian refugees are loaded with ISIS fanatics using fake documents to travel undetected across borders into Europe, hidden among tens of thousands of genuine refugees fleeing the terror and destruction. Once in Europe, they set up sleeper cells or live freely under with their new identities until they are called to action.

As the forger told the Daily Mail, "ISIS fighters are among the people going to Europe in this way. They are going to wait for the right time to become a fighter for ISIS again."

I'm not the only one who understands the folly in admitting thousands of Syrian refugees into the U.S. and the dangers they represent. FBI director James Comey has admitted that the federal government does not have the ability to conduct thorough background checks on all of the Syrian refugees that the Obama administration wants to bring in to the U.S.

“We can only query against that which we have collected. And so if someone has never made a ripple in the pond in Syria in a way that would get their identity or their interest reflected in our database, we can query our database until the cows come home, but there will be nothing show up because we have no record of them.”

Do we really want to sacrifice the safety of our families, children, and our fellow Americans because of some misguided, sanctimonious, politically correct theme that Progressives want to follow? They keep telling there is nothing to fear, that they will be vetted, that we will not let the bad guys get in, but that's a crock of manure.

Tell that to the hundreds who have died or were maimed in France and Germany.

And then consider that for us to rely on our federal authorities to protect us requires us to rely on the same people who recently granted U.S. citizenship to some 800 immigrants who had been ordered deported.

A Department of Homeland Security report just disclosed that these individuals, who should have been deported, were instead granted citizenship because of "gaps" in fingerprint record keeping. Translated - the deportees beat the system by using another name or date of birth, applied for, and were granted citizenship and because neither Homeland Security nor the FBI keeps old fingerprint records of individuals previously deported, they breezed through the system undetected.

Last but not least, we have the shining example of what just happened in New York City and its surrounding metropolitan area. The Afghan immigrant bomber had been reported to the FBI by his own father two years ago as a terrorist. He had travelled to Afghanistan and the Taliban held portions of Pakistan numerous times, sometimes for over a year, and returned to the U.S. as a radicalized murderer. At least that's what his friends would have told the FBI had they stopped by to ask.

With all these red flags flying over the bomber's New Jersey apartment, where was our FBI? Where was Homeland Security? Where were the people upon who we would rely to vet the Syrian refugees?

The FBI says they investigated and found nothing to warrant surveillance, questioning, or action. Really? And these are the folks that we are to rely upon when "vetting" Syrian refugees?

Think about that the next time Hillary tells you that she wants to increase the number of Syrian refugees by 550% over what the Obama administration has planned. And then think again when you are in the voting booth trying to decide whether you want her in office to implement her plan.
