I must confess that I watched very little of the Republican Convention last week. I have, on the other hand, watched some of the Democratic Convention after hearing about the Wikileaks email dump. Call me quirky but I thought it would be an opportunity to watch some interesting theatre.
Democrats laughed at Republicans for the chinks in the unity armor before the festivities in Philadelphia got underway. Then came the Wikileaks email dump that made it clear the DNC had rigged the primaries in favor of Hillary. I was curious to see how the Bernie or Bust-ers would react when they saw what the DNC had done to their socialist icon and so far they have not disappointed. They've heckled speakers, played cowbells through speeches, chanted, staged sit-ins, staged walk outs, booed their hero, burned flags, marched, disrupted meetings, repudiated the party's nominee, and otherwise made the Republican Convention look like a Kumbaya-fest.
